Pilates is an in vogue low-impact form of exercise. Originally designed by Czech physical trainer Joseph Pilates to help his dancers with their awareness of body movement in dance. This form of exercise has a strong focus on awareness of movement, core, pelvic floor and postural strength. Unlike traditional Pilates, Pilates at Grand Slam Physiotherapy has an increased focus on strength training so all exercise systems are conditioned ensuring you will receive the maximum benefit from your exercise. Not only that, it is a great way to have fun with regular exercises that is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. At Grand Slam Physiotherapy we offer Clinical Pilates with a maximum of 5 per class, ensuring that your program is individualised and tailored to your specific needs.
