Andy Chalmers

About Me

Andy graduated La Trobe University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Applied Science/Masters of Physiotherapy Practice (with distinction). He has since returned to university in a part-time capacity, on way to completing a Graduate Certificate in High Performance Sport at ACU.

As a student, Andy held positions as a sports trainer at the Bendigo Pioneers Football Club (TAC cup), Vic Country Football Club (U/18s representative) and the Western Bulldogs Football Club (VFL/AFL). Currently, he continues to work at the Western Bulldogs, as well as head physiotherapist for the North Geelong Warriors (NPL).

Andy has a particular interest in treating acute and chronic sporting injuries, although enjoys and is well-versed at treating patients from all walks of life. He uses a combination of manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation in order to achieve short and long-term outcomes.

Andy has completed further study in Clinical Pilates, is dry needling certified, as well as an Australian Strength & Conditioning Association (ASCA) level 1 coach.

Outside of work, Andy enjoys the gym, playing guitar, or catching up for a coffee with friends.
