Jesse Castillo

About Me

Jesse is a dedicated physiotherapist, with special interests in exercise based rehabilitation, lower limb tendinopathies and overload issues, acute and chronic knee issues and sports concussion. He is also trained in dry needling.  Jesse completed his physio training at Latrobe University with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Physiotherapy. Jesse has also begun his Masters of Sports & Exercise Physiotherapy at La Trobe University.

Jesse is passionate about sport, and currently works with Leopold Football Club in the GFL providing training and match day physiotherapy; having previously worked as a sports trainer with Werribee FC in the VFL. Jesse is also the strength and conditioning coach for Barwon Sports Academy tennis squad and is involved with the SUPER knee study at Latrobe University, treating ACL injuries.

Outside of Grand Slam Physiotherapy, Jesse enjoys exploring new countries and tasting their weird and wonderful foods, catching up with friends, and keeping fit through running, swimming or hitting the gym.
