Our dedicated team at Grand Slam Physiotherapy is proud to provide leading healthcare services for returned service men and women. This includes ‘no-gap’ treatment to clients under the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA), meaning no out of pocket cost. 


DVA and Physiotherapy

DVA Physiotherapy services aim to alleviate pain, improve function, enhance quality of life and promote healthy life for Australian veterans. At Grand Slam our physiotherapy, myotherapy and hand therapy team are here to help you achieve your physical goals and aspirations. Not only do we have a multidisciplinary team here at Grand Slam Physiotherapy, but we also boast a strong network trusted referrers including: Sports Doctors, Podiatrists and Surgeons in the Surf Coast/Greater Geelong region, to enable a holistic approach to your care.

DVA Entitlements and Physiotherapy

All DVA card holders, regardless of coverage (Gold/White), require a GP referral prior to being able to claim physiotherapy benefits. DVA Gold Card holders are able to receive a referral from their GP for any new injury or presentation. DVA White Card holders are eligible for a GP referral for those injuries recognised and approved by the DVA.
