Geelong and Torquay Exercise Class timetable

At our clinics we run daily excellent exercise classes that are individualised to improve your pain, performance, strength and stability. See below for exercise timetables. We run both Pilates exercise classes and GLA:D exercise classes.

Our Physio led reformer Clinical Pilates and strength classes offer individual programmed exercise in a group physiotherapy environment. Awareness and refinement of movement, core stability activation with bonus benefits from strength training under safe instruction. This program benefits from the inclusion of some Reformer Pilates-based exercises. Patient’s require an initial assessment prior to attending class to set up individualised program.

GLA:D®, or Good Life with Arthritis: Denmark, is an education and exercise program developed by researchers in Denmark for people with hip or knee osteoarthritis symptoms. This education and exercise program uses the latest evidence in osteoarthritis research. Research from the GLA:D® program in Denmark and now in Australia has found symptom progression reduced by 32%, reduced pain and increased level of physical activity. Classes aim to improve not only strength but how you move to assist in improving function, level of activity and reduce pain.
